With some basic tools or our DIY guide, you’ll be able to install cork flooring in your home. These floors are a natural, renewable product and are a great choice for your home or office
Step 1:
Prep the subfloor and ensure that it is leveled and has no cracks and gaps.
Step 2:
Roll out the adhesive onto the back of the cork tiles the night before. This will make the job a lot smoother the next morning. For a bigger room, it’s best to separate it into quadrants.
Step 3:
Follow your layout lines perfectly to avoid moving a shifting tiles once they have been pressed down. Tap the tiles with a rubber mallet as you go about laying them down.
Step 4:
After you have finished laying the tiles, sand any high spots or ridges and vacuum the entire floor.
